About Me – A Personal Glimpse

Moving to Tucson, Arizona from Augusta, Georgia in the early 1960′s, I adopted the “Desert Southwest” as my home. Well traveled (over 20 countries and just about every U.S. state), I have found this lush Southwestern desert to be a quiet oasis and well kept secret for nature’s desert beauty, personal health and sanity. Most of my family have been involved in real estate in some shape or form and many of them as licensed REALTORS®; most, actively involved in the local Arizona real estate community since the early 1970′s. That’s over 40 years of experience; we know the Great Southwest and “The Old Pueblo” like the back of our hands!

I am married to a wonderful woman, Victoria “Torie” Grammar, yet another highly successful and well respected Tucson REALTOR®. Although she maintains her Broker’s license actively, she is currently the Human Resources Manager at a local software company,  SimpleView. Growing with the company for over 5 years and directly contributing to its growth and success, she has quite the impact in making it the top employer to work for in Tucson, year after year. We have 3 beautiful and talented children, Tanner, Tyler and Shelby (a.k.a. “Daddy’s Little Princess”); we enjoy traveling, camping, skiing, swimming, cycling and playing with our lovable dogs.

Tanner is an extremely talented Visual Communications major at Northern Arizona University…his talents can be seen at TannerGrammar.com and the portfolio contained within. He’s also a pretty amazing musician as well and owns his own apparel company, Odyssey Limited Apparel.

Tyler is a truly gifted athlete. He attends the University of Arizona and is making quite a statement on the football field there, as a Freshman. Shelby is an incredible young lady, blessed with an amazing voice, personality and character. I spend my personal time triathlon training, hanging out socially with friends and family, golfing and often immersing myself in technology and software; I even own copyrights to a world class software application, © ArticleBASE. I truly enjoy cycling and the El Tour de Tucson, a 109 mile bicycling event that encompasses the parameter of the “Old Pueblo”…is a fantastic way to see Tucson! I’m also an Ironman, having finished Ironman Arizona, in 2011; I personally, think that’s pretty cool.

As a Veteran of U.S. Armed Forces, I understand reassignment, relocations and retirements. I have that unique insight into exactly what military families require, as we have “been there, done that” in this family for sure! I have a firm understanding of the VA Lending process and my lender, Jason Rose, is the best there is in the business of VA Lending.
